In New Zealand, two lesbian women became pregnant almost simultaneously from the same sperm donor. They have been a couple for two years and wanted to have a baby at the same time. After the clinic, to which they initially turned, had a two-year waiting list for sperm donors, they decided to go to a Facebook page for sperm and egg donors. The babies of Kat Buchanan and Taryn Cumming are to be born just twelve days apart. The couple is now publishing their pregnancies on social media.
