Words are the building blocks of any anguage. They allow us to articulate ideas and to create vivid and detailed pictures in the imagination of others. As a consequence, translations are always some kind of interpretation, too.
Rarely everything is exactly the same, one or the other can be lost. Us Germans don’t want to be any longer "lost in translation”. Therefore SBS correspondent Katharina Loesche welcomes Chris Dammann in the studio. Chris is the founder and managing director of Dammann German English Translations and certified Naati translator himself. He explains how to successfully bypass the translation pitfalls in everyday life.
