Promoting the opera stars of tomorrow. A conversation with Hans Henkell

For over 20 years, the German-Australian Opera Grant (GAOG) has been supporting young aspiring opera singers and enabling them to work at the State Opera in Wiesbaden. The final of this year's scholarship awards will take place in Melbourne on 18 November. Hans Henkell is an opera lover and one of the directors of the GAOG. He talks to us about the scholarship and the star qualities of Australian opera singers.
