Papua: Oceania's last tropical glaciers are disappearing

On Oceania’s highest mountain, the last remaining tropical glaciers are melting at an unprecedented rate. Recent research shows that they have lost the bulk of their ice within just a few decades. Scientists describe this as an irretrievable loss.
