Plans for an Australian-Russian exchange

Irena Kobold has written a children's book, which has won many awards and has been translated into various languages. It's called "My Two Blankets" and we have already spoken to her about this in this program. Now she wants to present this book in Russia, too, and talk to children, teachers and staff from libraries and other planned venues on her journey through the huge country about the topics dealt with in it. Widely travelled and experienced in many areas - for example, she also speaks Russian - Irena wants to initiate a cultural exchange. Who knows where that can lead? It is of course questionable whether her trip can already take place this summer in Europe, but as enthusiastically as she is, it will surely happen sooner or later.
