Thorsten Gärtner is originally from the Black Forest and is Country Manager HongKong and Project Manager in Melbourne at Herrenknecht AG. We talked to him about the giant drills, about the problems that can arise in these mega-projects and why it is sometimes cheaper to bury such a drill after the work is done instead of reusing it.
