This is what Christmas sounds like for the German-speaking community in Australia

The Christmas season has an unique sound. The tinkling of bells, the crunch of snow underfoot or the crackling of the fire. It all evokes the Christmas spirit. Even here in Australia, thousands of kilometres away from home, with sun instead of snow, these sounds are automatically associated with the Christmas season. SBS correspondent Katharina Loesche asked the German-speaking community in Brisbane to find out which sounds immediately evoke the Christmas spirit.
