Once a year, the Swiss national television presents a special folklore gala, Viva Volksmusik. The program combines the best of Swiss popular music, as enjoyed by millions of Swiss all around the world. However, for 2019, the responsible entities in Zurich have planned a very special event.


The unique happening is a performance by Melbourne-based Kapelle Grüetzi Mitenand, headed by John Wanner, a Swiss-Australian dual citizen who is so excited he has barely been able to sleep.
