"The atmosphere on the return flight to Germany was creepy"

Anna Lüling was an intern at SBS German in Melbourne when the pandemic reached Australia. Within days, she packed her bags and returned to Cologne. "The atmosphere on the plane was creepy", she says. For example, "when a passenger coughed, everyone looked at him as if he had just killed someone".
