What do Germans in Australia miss about their former homeland? Well, for starters, German bread! It is baked night after night in thousands of bakeries from Lake Constance to Hamburg. Traditional recipes are used, and the combination of skills, quality ingredients and age-old ovens ensures the result is both yummy and unmistakably German. But there's more to the story, as SBS reporter Daniel Salg found out when he visited Johannes Schwarz, a baker in Nuremberg.
