It was only years later that she discovered that the origin of this apartment was closely linked to the fate of two Jewish women during National Socialism. In her book “Auf der Suche nach Friederike/Looking for Friederike”, she embarks on an intensive search for clues and reconstructs a story that might otherwise have been lost.
