The sculpture that tells of the sinking of an island

The sculpture by underwater artist Jason DeCaires Taylor demonstrates the effects of climate change.

At low tide, it stands on a narrow strip of sand; at high tide, it sinks into the sea. In the middle of the Pacific, a new sculpture is reminiscent of an island that rising sea levels have already wiped out. It makes the climate crisis vividly visible.
