USA and Canada: Trade dispute escalates

The trade conflict between the USA and Canada continues to escalate. US President Donald Trump is imposing new tariffs of 50 percent on Canadian goods worth around 20 billion US dollars. Canada announces countermeasures. Prime Minister Mark Carney will need to show how serious he is about his promise not to bow to Trump's trade policy.
