World Cup update: Australia reaches the round of 32 after a draw against Paraguay

On matchday 15 of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Australia secured their way into the knock-out round with a goalless draw against a disciplined Paraguay. Ecuador surprised with a victory against group winner Germany and also moved into the round of 32 as group final. Ivory Coast, the Netherlands, Japan and Sweden also qualified for the next tournament phase.
