Born and raised in Melbourne, Eleni comes from a second-generation Greek-Australian family.
Her grandparents migrated to Australia from Greece in their late teenage years, with roots in Evia, Lesvos (Mytilene), and the Peloponnese.
Eleni first picked up a tennis racket at just four years old, inspired by her older sister, Zena.
By the age of six, Eleni was already competing in tournaments, and over the years she has collected numerous trophies.
Since 2019, Eleni has been part of Tennis Australia’s high-performance development program, a significant marker of her potential and consistency.
Right now, her main focus is mental strength, an area she believes separates good players from great ones.
Her Greek-Australian identity is woven into her everyday life, even if her schedule often pulls her away from friends due to training and tournaments.

On court, she draws inspiration from both Australian and Greek tennis. Ash Barty stands out as her main idol.
From Greece, Maria Sakkari’s physicality and fitness resonate strongly.
She also hopes to qualify for the prestigious Orange Bowl in the United States, one of the world’s most important junior tournaments.
