The conference will provide teachers of Modern Greek a unique networking and professional development opportunity.
K-12 teachers of Modern Greek in government and non-government schools are invited to present in workshops in Greek or English across a range of topics including support for the new K-10 syllabus, the use of ICT in the language classroom and innovative approaches to the teaching of Greek.

The official program of the Teachers’ Conference
Greek Language Advisor Dr Maria Harissi, who works for the Learning and Teaching Directorate of the NSW Department of Education will do the official welcoming the Acknowledgement of Country, as well as R/K-6 Community Program Officer, Ms Ashley Nouris, from the same department.
The opening of the Conference will be done by the Consul General of Greece in Sydney, Mr Christos Karras.
