A 33-year-old female, former neighbor and acquaintance of the family confessed that she abducted and sexually abused the 10-year-old girl, who disappeared a week ago in Thessaloniki and was found 48 hours later wandering at the streets under the influence of drugs.
Greek authorities have arrested the "red-haired" woman who confessed not only to the abduction, but also to the abuse of α 10-year-old girl. She is a 33-year-old woman, divorced, unemployed, admittedly occasionally a sex worker, mother of a 7-year-old child, who goes to the same school as the 10-year-old victim and for several years lived in the same apartment building, where the victim lives with her mother and her step father.
