Australia & other countries oppose the explosive Israeli annexation initiative Dr Eyal Mayroz (English)

1st July a few days ago was the day that Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu promised to annex parts of the West Bank The PM was under pressure from political parties and settlers’ groups to extend Israel’s Sovereignty over as much as 30% of the West Bank. Dr Eyal Mayroz from the University of Sydney, Peace and conflict Studies, is a former Israeli counter terrorism intelligence specialist. We asked him about Netanyahu’s motives, the reaction of the Palestinians, the American perspectives as well as the reaction of the government, here in Australia.
