After the terrorist attack in Bondi, Kahn ran to the beach searching for his wife and young daughter, who had attended the Hanukkah event. He told SBS Hebrew that in the days that followed, he began writing Hineinu as a way of processing what had happened through music.
This performance is part of the Spoken Word Festival, produced by Shalom Collective, a Sydney-based nonprofit creating contemporary Jewish experiences.
