Alex Dafner with Yiddish report 19.7.2020: Jewish leaders and politicians in Victoria and NSW have appealed to the Jewish communities in those states to uphold and continue the safe practices to contain the Coronavirus infections, following increased outbreaks in those states and reports of the flaunting of regulations among some individuals and groups in the Jewish communities. Jewish leaders in Australia have expressed their support for the campaign and advertising boycott, in the USA, here and elsewhere, aimed at pressuring Facebook to act more vigorously against the growing dissemination of racism, antisemitism and hatred on their platform.
