Domestic violence is a huge problem in Australia, Israel and around the Globe. We spoke to Lili Ben Ami about Preventing Domestic Violence through Innovation and technology. Lili establish the Michal Sela Forum, not for profit organization to prevent and assist domestic violence victims after her sister, Michal Sela age 32, was brutally murdered by her husband.

Last week an initiative was launched, for collaboration between Israel and Australia to fight Domestic Violence and develop life-saving technology projects with the assistance of Microsoft Australia, the Israeli Embassy in Canberra and the Australia Israel Chambers of Commerce.

The partnership looked at tech-based solutions to save the next murder victim and raising public awareness of warning signs in relationships. The roundtable brought together Australian leaders and stakeholders from government, industry, university, to meet with the Michal Sela Forum and their partners from hi-tech and Gov. in Israel.

Lili shares with our listeners the start-ups that have created technology that can protect potential victims who are at risk.
