"Leifer Malka mentally fit enough to stand trial in Australia", Yiddish report 31.5.2020

The Australian alleged victims of Malka Leifer’s sexual crimes, Australian and Israeli politicians and the Australian Jewish community, welcomed the ruling of the Jerusalem district court’s Judge Hannah Lomp that Leifer was mentally fit enough to stand trial and the setting of hearing for her extradition to Australia to stand trial here over the alleged sexual crimes, for the 20th July 2020. The hateful activities of smearing swastikas and other symbols of hatred by neo-Nazi and white supremacist and anti-gay groups goes on unabated in Australia, with the latest incidents on Melbourne’s Glenhuntly Rd and the Jewish Cranbourne Golf Course. Twitter and Instagram have responded to appeals by the Anti-Defamation Commission’s Chair Dvir Abramovitch and others and barred the neo-Nazi “National Socialist Net” group that has been spreading racist, antisemitic, white supremacist and anti-gay propaganda from its internet services. Moriah College in Sydney was one of two schools that quickly sent their students home and closed the gates again last Tuesday, following the discovery of a student who had tested positive for the Covid-19 virus, but it is due to reopen again on the 1st June 2020, following the implementation of the NSW Govt’s guidelines for the tracing of contacted students, the cleaning and sanitising of the school.
