The Albanese Government says recognising Palestinian statehood is a step towards a genuine two-state solution — one that acknowledges the aspirations of the Palestinian people while making clear there can be no place for Hamas in any future Palestinian government. Jeremy Leibler, President of the Zionist Federation of Australia, has warned it risks rewarding extremism and jeopardising Israel’s security. He joins us now to share his reaction.
