Jewish community representatives met with Muslim clerics in a Mosque near Melbourne, to demonstrate the Jewish community’s solidarity with the Muslim community on the occasion of the 2nd anniversary of the slaughter of 50 Muslim worshippers, by an Australian white supremacist terrorist, in Christchurch in New Zealand. Jewish fans of the Israeli soccer star Tomer Hemed, attended the match between his Wellington Phoenix side and the Western Sydney Wanderers team in Parramatta and waved Israeli flags and cheered loudly in Hebrew, when he scored a penalty goal for his side, the first ever Israeli to do so in the Australian Soccer A-League.
