The Principal of Sydney’s Jewish Moriah College wrote to parents of students, for-warning them that in view of the raising number of Covid-19 cases in the city, and a case of Covid-19 detected at one of the college’s campuses, he expects cases to show up among the school community in the near future.

The Montefiore’s Hunter Hill home for the elderly in Sydney, continued to keep 23 of their residents in isolation and to institute strict Covid-19 restrictions and precautions, following the report of an outside contractor returning a positive Covid-19 test a fortnight ago.

The Jewish Board of Deputies of NSW and the Executive Council of Australian Jewry (ECAJ), have called on the Government of NSW to follow Victoria, in instituting legislation to ban the open display of Nazi Swastikas and other symbols of Nazi hatred.
