SBS Yiddish report with Alex Dafner: anti-Semitic, anti-vaccination conspiracy graffiti in Melbourne

Following wild anti-vaccination and anti-lockdown protests in Melbourne last week, which also included neo-Nazi and extremist elements, who stuck notes with swastikas, Nazi and racist white-supremacist slogans around city streets and around areas with a higher population of Jews and Muslims, antisemitic, anti-vaccination conspiracy graffiti was smeared on the walls of an IKEA store this week.

Elderly and other recipients of Jewish Care assistance in Melbourne, survived the quite severe earthquake, which occurred during the second day of the 8 day holiday of Sukkot uninjured, despite some minor damage to the JC’s infrastructure and facilities.

A Monash University Jewish student activist, Eddy Lichtig, played a crucial role in securing the rescue of 11 Afghanistani citizens, whose lives were in danger, following the Taliban takeover of the capital Kabul.

Sign-off:  Farewell, good health, wishes for the week...
