Australia criticised the United Nations Human Rights Council for its one-sided, constant condemnation of Israel, the first such stance taken under the new Australian Labor Government regarding Israel on the international stage.

Jewish students in Victorian state schools will be able to apply for limited, unfilled places, with reduced, more affordable fees, in six private Jewish schools in that state, under a new scheme being introduced by the Jewish Education Foundation.

A comprehensive study of reported hate incidents against members of the Jewish, Muslim and Asian Australian communities, has revealed a far higher proportion of such incidents against Jews, despite their much lower number of persons among the Australian population.

The much awaited start of the building of the new Sydney White City Jewish community Centre will begin shortly, following the signing of final agreements and contracts, despite some difficult years of Covid, shortages of labour and materials, inflation and bankruptcies among the building industry.
