SBS Yiddish Report with Alex Dafner : Jewish Students, AUJS, complained about anti-Israel rhetoric on campuses in Australia

The Australian Parliamentary Joint Standing Committee on Intelligence and Security, heard strong arguments presented by ASIO and leading Jewish organisations’ representatives, why the whole Hamas organisation and not just its military wing, should be listed as a terrorist organisation, in Australia.

Jewish critics of a new book by the ABC and former The Australian newspaper journalist John Lyons, rejected his claims that Australian journalists and editors fear the severe attacks by local pro-Israel groups and thus silence or self-censor their criticism or investigation of Israel’s and its defence forces’ IDF actions.

The Australasian Union of Jewish Students, AUJS, complained about the growth and severity of anti-Israel rhetoric on university campuses in Australia, with the Universities of Tasmania and La Trobe in northern Melbourne providing the latest examples of such extremism.
