Witnessing the horrors, the courage and the hope - an Australian Israeli perspective

Edan, a 34-year-old Australian-Israeli has now lived in Israel for over 10 years after making Aliyah as a Boger of Hashomer Hatzair. Edan lives in Kiryat Ono outside of Tel Aviv with his wife. Edan currently works at Ilyon, a mobile gaming company based in Rosh Ha'ayin. Edan happens to be the nephew of the legendary Australian boxing champion, Henry Nissen.

Edan Nissen tells us about what it is like to be an Australian-Israeli living in Israel during one of the most tragic periods ever. Personally knowing young people kidnapped or murdered by Hamas. Being subjected to rocket attacks. Deciding to stay in Israel and not to flee to Australia, as an act of defiance and loyalty to his many friends over there.
