Working in an outback cattle station - not for the faint hearted!

Bezalel (“Bazza”) Gillis was born in Israel, served in a combat unit in the IDF until late last year, and soon after embarked upon one of the most interesting and challenging post army trips possible: long tracks in NZ, staying with exceedingly friendly rural communities in Fiji, and then working for three months in a remote cattle station in Queensland. It’s definitely not for the fainthearted to ride volatile cows, wrestle moody sheeps and work real hard long hours in such stations.

The climax of that trip was supposed to be seeing the Saints reaching the Grand Final and reclaiming the flag. Alas, God moves in mysterious ways, but Bazza is certain that there will be another Saintly Grand Final by 2066 and has already booked a front seat for that once in a century (millennium?) event.

We foresee that there will be a stampede of students from Jewish schools such as Scopus, Bialik, Yavne, Moriah College etc applying to work in remote cattle stations across Australia after listening to this riveting interview!
