"I am on my deathbed. S**t happens," were Divya Chouksey's last words on social media before the 29-year-old Bollywood actor died after her battle with cancer.

Her cousin, Soumya Amish Verma, shared the news of her death on social media.
"With a sense of deep sadness, I am sharing the news that my cousin Divya Chouksey has passed away due to cancer at a very young age.
"She had been suffering from cancer for the last 1.5 years. She did an acting course from London and acted in many films and TV serials. She also made her name as a singer. Today, she left us. I wish God blesses her soul," Ms Verma wrote on Facebook.
Just hours before her death, Divya posted a heartbreaking message on Instagram.
"Words cannot suffice what I want to convey, the more, the less, since it's been months am absconded and bombarded with a plethora of messages.
"It's time I tell you guys; I am on my death bed. S**t happens. I am strong. Be there another life of non-suffering. No questions, please. Only God knows how much you mean to me," she wrote.
Model and actress Divya Chouksey came from Bhopal in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. She made her Bollywood debut in 2016 film Hai Apna Dil Toh Awara by Monjoy Joy Mukerji.

Her fellow actors have paid tribute to Divya on social media, calling her a "beautiful soul".

TV actor Niyati Joshi wrote: "We never connected the first time. It took us months to know each other, to be good friends."
"You were always a fighter, passionate about everything that you stepped into, extremely talented, vivacious."
Actor Sahil Anand says Divya will be missed.
"Your passion, your dream, your go-getter attitude, your positivity towards our industry was unmatched to anyone I have met, but maybe God had some other plans for you," he wrote on Instagram.
Bollywood has lost many stars in the recent months, including Sushant Singh Rajput, Rishi Kapoor, Irrfan Khan, Jagdeep and choreographer Saroj Khan.
