Bollywood superstar Aishwarya Rai Bachchan tested positive for COVID-19, a day after her actor husband, Abhishek Bachchan and his father, Amitabh Bachchan were admitted to hospital with the virus.
The couple’s eight-year-old daughter Aaradhya has tested positive while senior Bachchan's wife and actress Jaya Bachchan had tested negative, Abhishek confirmed on Twitter.

He added the mother and daughter were quarantining at home.
It comes a day after her father-in-law, Bollywood superstar Amitabh and her husband, Abhishek Bachchan tested positive with the virus.
The father-son duo is in hospital and is said to have mild symptoms.
Abhishek Bachchan tweeted that they would remain in hospital "till the doctors decide otherwise".

Later he thanked all his friends and fans for good wishes.
The senior Bachchan, also revered as Big B, has acted in more than 200 Indian films over the past five decades.
He has won several awards and has delivered some of the Indian cinema's iconic blockbuster films like Zanjeer, Sholay, Agneepath. He is a living legend for his fans in India and worldwide.
His son, 44-year-old Abhishek Bachchan is also a Bollywood actor and has acted in more than 60 films including Dhoom, Paa, Sarkaar and Guru.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is former Miss World and an actress in her own right who has acted movies which include Dhoom, Guru. She is also a Goodwill Ambassador for UNAIDS. In 2003 she was the first Indian actress to be a jury member at the Cannes Film Festival.
