A 25-year-old man from Western Sydney has been arrested and taken to Goulburn Police Station, where he faced court on Wednesday after his bail was refused.

NSW Police said in a statement that the person arrested is a truck driver.
“As part of ongoing operations to disrupt and dismantle drug trafficking in NSW, Strike Force Raptor, with assistance from Traffic and Highway Patrol Command, conducted an inspection on a truck at the heavy vehicle weigh station at Marulan about 5 pm yesterday,” police said in a statement.

“During a search of the vehicle, officers located eight boxes containing a total of 127 kilograms of cannabis in vacuum-sealed bags with a street value of over $3 million. Three phones were also seized during the search.”
Police also searched his home in Merrylands and allegedly seized a gel blaster, steroids and cash for forensic examination.
“The 25-year-old is an Indian national, and investigators will work with the Department of Home Affairs regarding his visa status,” police said.

According to the police, the man has been charged with supply of prohibited drug (large commercial quantity), possession of an unauthorised pistol, possession of a prohibited plant, and dealing with property proceeds of crime.
