Police announced on Tuesday that he had been charged with a further three counts, with the case mentioned in the Brisbane Magistrates Court today.
"These new charges have been laid as a result of police identifying and speaking with three additional passengers," a police spokesperson said in a statement.
He has previously already been charged with 11 counts of attempted murder for the passengers who were on the bus at the time.
It is alleged O'Donohue threw an "incendiary item" at Mr Alisher as passengers were boarding on Beaudesert Road.
Officers earlier said while there had been "no apparent motive", a link to terrorism had been ruled out.
O'Donohue did not appear in person when the matter was mentioned in court today.
His next court appearance will be on February 2.
