TIME magazine's annual list of the world's most influential people is out.
The magazine says this list of most influential people is ‘a designation of individuals whose time, in our estimation, is happening right now.’
Deepika Padukone, Virat Kohli, and Bhavish Aggarwal are the three Indians who have made it to Time’s 100 Most Influential People of 2018 list.
Bhavish Aggarwal, the co-founder of Ola, one of the world’s largest ride-sharing companies, is listed among the pioneers by Time.

Ola today is present in more than 100 Indian cities and recently made its debut in Australia.
It has empowered millions of driver-partners and commuters and is a flag bearer for India’s consumer-tech ecosystem.
And he is only 32 years old.
“By taking Ola Down Under to Australia this year, he has made it one of the first homegrown tech companies to meaningfully expand outside India. This time, the wishes of a billion Indians, mine included, are riding in his cab,” Sachin Bansal, the executive chairman of Indian e-commerce company Flipkart says about him.
Indian actress, Deepika Padukone, who recently made her debut in Hollywood, is featured among Ryan Coogler, Hugh Jackman, and Nicole Kidman as the most influential person in the artists’ category.

Vin Diesel, who co-starred with Padukone in the xXx: Return of Xander Cage says, ‘Deepika is the best Earth has to offer. She’s not just here to represent India; she’s here to represent the world.’
From the sporting world, Indian Cricket Team captain Virat Kohli is featured with the likes of Roger Federer, Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk and Oprah Winfrey as the most influential person in the Titans’ category.

Legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar writes, “My father always told me that if I focused on what I was doing, over time, detractors would become followers. Virat seems to have a similar outlook when it comes to his game.
I wish him all the best for his career ahead and am confident he will continue to bring pride and glory to India through cricket. Go Virat!”
Two other Indian-origin personalities to feature on the list are Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft and Leo Waradkar, Ireland’s youngest Prime Minister.
