Closures of GP clinics impact migrant patients in Australia

According to the World Health Organisation's (WHO) report, millions of migrants and refugees experience poor health services in their communities. In Australia, over 60 General Practitioners' clinics have been closed in the past four years. This was largely due to inadequate Medicare funding and staff shortages. Indian-origin pediatrician, Dr Angraj Khillan explains why fewer medicine graduates are becoming GPs and what needs to be done to turn around this situation.
