World Hindi Diwas: Melbourne-based poet highlights Hindi's crucial role in preserving Indian traditions

The global celebration of International Hindi Day takes place on 10 January. The Indian Consulate in Melbourne is organising a 'Kavita Goshthi,' an evening of Hindi poetry in partnership with the Sahitya Sandhya literature group. Dr Subhash Sharma, a poet representing the Hindi organisation, emphasises the significance of the language, poetry and the importance of such dedicated occasions. In the podcast's concluding segment, he also shares his own poetry.
