Yoga enthusiasts in Australia celebrated the 8th International Yoga Day highlighting the benefits of this practice. The Consulate General of India in Melbourne organised a yoga event, in collaboration with Art of Living and the Brahma Kumaris. In Sydney’s iconic Town Hall, around 400 people came together to perform asana, pranayama, and meditation while ministers from the Parliament of New South Wales acknowledged the relevance and importance of yoga to unite the multicultural Australian society.
