Dr Kumail Jaffry, a surgical resident, arrived in Australia as a 12-year-old refugee with the dream of becoming a doctor. Fluent in six languages and learning a seventh, Dr Jaffry believes that being multilingual helps him to be a better doctor. He shares his connection with Hindi and his bond with his mother tongue.
