Money spent on poker machines in NSW rises, prompting calls for tougher regulation

During the third quarter of 2022 alone, over two billion dollars were spent on poker machines in New South Wales. The growing problem of gambling during a cost of living crisis contributes to the need for stronger government intervention, say advocates of gambling reforms.
