Avijit Sarkar, a renowned musician, singer, writer and cartoonist, was recently honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Indian Literacy and Art Society of Australia (ILASA). During an interview with SBS Hindi, Mr Sarkar discusses the impact of Bangla language music and musicians on his life as well as their invaluable contribution to Indian music.
