Optus CEO grilled at Senate inquiry as questions mount over deadly triple-zero outage

A Senate inquiry has begun into Optus’s Triple-Zero outage, which left hundreds unable to contact Triple Zero and was later linked to three deaths. Optus CEO Stephen Rue faced tough questioning over the company’s response to the nationwide network failure, while Prime Minister Anthony Albanese welcomed the start of the inquiry.
