Men and women teams from the Indian community and an Indian High Commission team participated in Pink Stumps Day last week in Canberra. They raised about $1100 for McGrath Foundation, which provides nurses for breast cancer patients. Some women cricket players, who participated for the first time, told SBS Hindi that this cause has helped them break mental barriers and brought the community closer.
