Welcome to Haryana where several houses are displaying names of their daughters

Almost 16,000 families in the northern Indian state of Haryana have installed the nameplates outside their homes in the name of their daughters. While the declining sex ratio in the state has been a matter of concern for some time, this unique move is being considered as an important step for changing the mindset towards daughters.
