Australia's "unprecedented pivot" aid program to help Pacific nations respond to COVID-19

The Australian government has announced what it is calling an "unprecedented pivot" of the country's aid program to help Pacific nations respond to COVID-19.


The money is being redirected from the existing budget, but aid agencies say additional funds are needed to deal with the pandemic's impacts in the Pacific.
