Covid 19 epidemic not only requires a sense of mutual assistance to meet the necessities of life, but also a sense of solidarity and togetherness and only by obeying the preventive rules, the impact of outbreaks can be minimized

Indonesian society in general is very concerned about the welfare of others. This can be seen in the current coronavirus outbreak where they are very fast and easy to raise funds for those affected by the outbreak.

But in terms of their health, it is difficult to show their concern, such as reducing outside activities to be part of an prevent effort to stop the spread of the corona virus.

To find out more about this behaviour, SBS Indonesian talked to Dr. Harmona Daulay, a sociologist from the University of North Sumatra (USU) in Medan about community solidarity related to the Covid 19 epidemic.
