Australia would be a better place if more people did at least one kind thing a day, according to a survey by the Red Cross.


A common enemy, be it bushfires or viruses, can bring out the best in people.

Or not - toilet paper hoarding springs to mind.

After surveying just over 1,000 people aged over 18, Australian Red Cross found nine out of ten people believe helping friends, family, workmates and other members in the community should be a daily occurrence.
