Director Yandy Laurens and producer Suryana Paramita trace the journey of "Sore" from a 2017 web series to an award-winning feature film that claimed four Piala Citra trophies at the 2025 Indonesian Film Festival and now represents Indonesia at the 2026 Academy Awards.

Three cinemas across Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane screened "Sore: Istri Dari Masa Depan" (Sore: Wife from the Future). The film, directed by Yandy Laurens, has won four Piala Citra awards at the 2025 Indonesian Film Festival (FFI) in the categories of Best Director, Best Lead Actress (Sheila Dara Aisha), Best Editing, and Best Theme Song.

Why did the team choose Croatia and Finland as filming locations? What challenges did they face shooting across borders?
