The G20 meeting has opened in Indonesia on the island of Bali where delegates from the twenty largest economies in the world are getting ready to face the challenges of various crises - financial, energy, and geopolitical.

The 20 countries are holding talks until Sunday 17 July 2022. The meeting comes one week after another G20 Foreign Ministers meeting, which discussed the War in Ukraine.

This time the Finance Ministers from Russia and Ukraine addressed the meeting virtually.

Some countries do not want to see Russia take part in the meeting.

The G20 is expected to do its best to ease the burden on the weakest countries, although there are big differences in the reasons behind the crisis and how to resolve it.
