Human trials of a candidate COVID-19 vaccine have begun in Queensland, with the first participants receiving their shots today.


120 volunteers out of 4000 applicants chosen, if successful, there are hopes for positive outcomes for all of us some time next year. 

The volunteers now face months of regular testing and close observation and it will not just be the scientists, but the whole world, watching and hoping for a positive outcome.
